Turnitin.com
The BMCC Library now subscribes to the plagiarism detection service Turnitin.com. Turnitin compares submitted papers to millions of web pages, paper mills, and some subscription databases. Turnitin creates so-called Originality Reports. Reports are exact duplicates of submitted papers, except that any text either copied or paraphrased appears underlined, color-coded, and linked to its original source on the Web.
If you would like to use Turnitin this semester, please get in touch with Prof. Marion Prudlo.
Contact information: mprudlo@bmcc.cuny.edu, 212-220-1450, Room S-434 Quiet Study Area.
