Most of the Library's internet computers are located near the Reference Desk. Some PCs are dedicated to library databases and are restricted to prevent access to the Web.

Instructions on how to print can be found by the computers. Word is not installed on library internet computers but students may borrow a laptop for MS Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint. Computer labs on the 5th floor also have MS Word and offer free printing.

The Library subscribes to many databases from all subject areas. Some databases are encyclopedias such as the Encyclopedia Britannica or the dictionaries such as the Grove Dictionary of Music. We also have databases that contain the full text of books such as netLibrary.

To access the databases from home, you have to log on to the databases page first with your BMCC e-mail account user name and password.
