The Reference Desk is directly in front of you as you enter the Library.
Whenever the Library is open there is a librarian available
at the desk. Librarians will assist you with your research,
help you find books, and show you how to use databases and the Library Catalog, CUNYPlus.
Reference books like encyclopedias, dictionaries, and almanacs cannot
be checked out. Some reference materials are behind the Reference
Desk- librarians can help you with these items. The
Library also subscribes to a database (XreferPlus)
that contains the full text of 125 reference books.
