This Month’s Theme:

Back to School

It’s the start of the school year, which means back to the routine of going to class, doing homework, and studying for tests. Many manga feature students in some sort of school setting, be it college, magic academy, idol lessons, or the like. For our inaugural talk we’ll be looking at titles that take place in school settings.

Make an appointment with a Librarian

Need help finding sources for your research project? Or just need help with the research process in general? While Librarians are always available at the Reference Desk, you can also make an appointment to sit down with our librarians to work one-on-one.

To make an appointment, go to this page and fill out the form. It’s that easy!

Check out our new Manga Collection!

manga display 2019The Library has been growing its manga collection, which is currently expanding at a rapid rate. Manga is the Japanese word for comics and are incredibly popular, spanning all genres and demographics.

The manga is part of the Library’s leisure reading collection and can be borrowed for four weeks at a time.

As this collection is currently growing, we may not yet have every title you’re looking for or the next volume you need. If you’re looking for something we don’t yet have, please see our guide on how to get books from other libraries including the rest of CUNY and NYPL.
