Electronic Reserve
provides course reserve materials on the Web. The system used at BMCC
to provide these materials is called ERes.

- Materials are
available 24 hours a day-7days a week.
- Types of materials
that can be provided include: journal articles, book chapters, syllabi,
assignments, PowerPoint presentations, Websites, and multimedia.
- View, download
or print reserve materials on any computer with Web access.
- Multiple users
can access the same document simultaneously.
- Password protection
enhances copyright compliance.

- Pick up a Faculty
Electronic Reserve Request form at the Circulation desk in the Library
(S-400) or download the form.
- Fill out the
form and submit it together with the materials that you want to
put on reserve.
- There are three
ways in which you can submit the materials to the library:
- Bring materials
to the library in person. (Print materials can still be placed on
traditional reserve at the circulation desk.) Materials in electronic
format can be submitted on disk.
- Materials in
electronic format can also be e-mailed to Prof.
Zhao at tzhao@bmcc.cuny.edu Accepted attachment formats are
Word, Excel, PowerPoint or PDF. Please indicate your name, department,
semester, course title and course number.
- Materials can
also be faxed. Our fax number is 212-748-7466.
- Tip:
The better the quality of the photocopy, the better the display
of the material on the Web.
